Booking Terms

There is an age limit of 18 years to book a room at Farris Bad. If you are under 18 years old, please contact farrisbad@farrisbad.no or call us at 33 19 60 00, and we will help you customize your booking.

  • After 4:00 PM on the day of arrival, the hotel has the right to cancel reservations that have not been checked in, if they are not guaranteed with a credit card or other payment guarantee, without being obliged to inform the guest.
  • Spa treatments: There is a 24-hour cancellation policy for all spa treatments – including those included in packages.
  • Exclusive for members of the Strawberry Club Silver, Gold, and Platinum levels: Conditions as above but at 9:00 PM instead of 4:00 PM. This only applies to overnight stays with breakfast.
  • When booking package deals, these can be canceled free of charge up to 7 days before arrival.
  • No show or cancellation after the specified time will be charged in full.
  • By purchasing cancellation insurance for 195 NOK per person, this will allow you to cancel packages free of charge until 4:00 PM the day before arrival.
  • Commercial activities in connection with the stay must be agreed with the hotel.

 

General terms and conditions

  • Booking: the number of persons, price, accommodation, as well as other products and services to be provided by the hotel are stated in the confirmation.
  • Validity of price agreement: The agreed prices are binding for both parties, however, the hotel reserves the right to adjust prices due to increased costs from taxes and fees, or other circumstances beyond the hotel's control.
  • Status – Changes and cancellations: All changes must be communicated to the hotel in writing to be valid.
  • Cancellation deadlines: All our packages that include dinner, spa products, or treatments have a 7-day cancellation policy. By purchasing cancellation insurance, you can cancel until 4:00 PM the day before arrival. Accommodation with breakfast and spa access can be canceled free of charge until 4:00 PM on the day of arrival. Reservations not canceled within the deadlines will be charged.
  • Confirmed until 9:00 PM: Applies only to members of the Strawberry Club Silver, Gold, and Platinum levels, conditions as above but until 9:00 PM instead of 4:00 PM. This only applies to overnight stays with breakfast.
  • Guarantee: The reservation is guaranteed through payment from a company, or with a credit card. The hotel is obliged to offer the guest a room for the booked number of nights. The reservation will be charged in full if the room is canceled, or in case of no-show.
  • Payment: Advance payment is made according to the conditions specified in the comments section of the confirmation. The agreed price is paid upon arrival.
  • Bank guarantee for the total estimated cost must be received according to the conditions specified in the comments section of the confirmation. Late payment will incur interest in accordance with the late payment law. The hotel reserves the right to request a deposit.
  • Room availability: Booked hotel rooms are guaranteed to be ready for check-in after 4:00 PM on the day of arrival and can be used until 12:00 PM on the day of departure. Rooms can be used beyond this time by agreement with the hotel.
  • Liability for damage: The booker is responsible for damage to premises caused by negligence or improper behavior of the guests.
  • Force majeure: Events beyond the control of the contracting parties – such as strikes, lockouts, fires, etc. that make it impossible to fulfill the obligations in this agreement – entitle to terminate the agreement without liability for damages.
  • Jurisdiction: All disputes that may arise between the parties to this agreement or on any other basis or between guests and the hotel shall be governed by Norwegian law. If the dispute is not resolved amicably, the hotel's property jurisdiction shall apply.
  • Deposit: The hotel reserves the right to request a deposit or credit card guarantee.

 

Personal information

In some cases, the hotel may use Google to search for personal information to enhance the guest experience during the stay at the hotel. This information will not be used for commercial purposes, only to understand the true needs of the guests to provide the best possible service.
