The sauna culture is flourishing in Norway, and the interest in the power of steam has never been greater. But with growth comes responsibility  understanding the sauna's function, rituals, and safety is crucial for creating safe and rewarding experiences. This basic course provides you with a solid introduction to the world of sauna, from historical traditions to modern practices.

A guided sauna journey of approximately 3 hours, harnessing the energy of the full moon. Starting at 9:0 PM.

In a slow pace and comfortable temperature, a deep meditative state is created.

(Included in the price for staying guests and day guests).

Join a foundational international 2-day course in aromatherapy for sauna. This course provides you with all the knowledge an aufguss master needs to use essential oils in a safe, effective, and creative way. The course is considered the standard in the Aufguss environment, combining both scientific theory and practical skills that elevate your practice to the next level.

Norwegian Championship in Aufguss will be held at Farris Bad on May 1st-3rd, 2026.

Experience Norway's top aufguss masters compete to be among the top two who will represent Norway in this year's World Championship finals.

NB: Our full moon ritual the 1th of May is unfortunately cancelled due to the Norwegian championship in Aufguss. 

We apologize for any inconvenience, but will offer amazing rituals and incredible atmosphere in the SPA during NM.
