Embark on a transformative retreat at Farris Bad, where the power of ancient traditions meets the introspective theme of "Mythos." Over three days, guided by  Tim Jago and Jesper Lundqvist, you’ll delve into the profound process of creating and understanding the myths—the stories—of our lives. This retreat offers a unique opportunity to explore how we shape our personal narratives and how we can release them when they no longer serve us.

  • Celtic Sweat Lodge Ceremonies: Experience the ancient practice of purification and rebirth in our beachside sweat lodge, as you connect with the primal energies of the earth and sea.
  • Gong Baths: Immerse yourself in the healing vibrations of gong baths, designed to cleanse and align your energy, helping you to release old stories and welcome new beginnings.
  • Guided Meditations: Deepen your journey with meditations that explore the theme of "Mythos," offering insight into the stories you live by and the potential for rewriting your life's narrative.
  • Access to one of europe's most beautiful resorts during your retreat,

Why "Mythos"? "Mythos" represents the powerful stories we create to define our lives. These stories shape our perceptions, decisions, and paths. But what happens when a story no longer serves us? This retreat is an invitation to examine, understand, and, if necessary, let go of those narratives, making space for new growth and possibilities.

A Sacred Setting Set against the backdrop of the autumn equinox, where day and night are in perfect balance, this retreat offers a harmonious environment to explore your inner world. The Sweat Lodge, gong baths, and meditations are all designed to support your journey of self-discovery and renewal.

Location: Farris Bad, Larvik—right by the mineral spring and the Skagerrak sea, offering a serene and sacred space for your transformational experience.

To ensure an intimate and powerful experience, this retreat is limited to a small group of participants.

Preparation for the retreat and the  lodge:

The sweat lodge  is a powerful ceremony. Many people experience deep healing and powerful insights during the lodge. It's also a challenge, but there are things you can do to make the journey smoother.

In the days before the lodge, try to find an intention for your ceremony. it might be broad like healing from past experiences ,or it might be very specific like looking at a particular pattern in your life that doesn't support you. Or maybe you just want to reconnect to your spirit. Also be aware that powerful ceremonies can sometimes provoke a kind of emotional resistance. You may notice all kinds of feelings bubbling to the surface. Try to stay grounded and calm. Allow the feelings to come and go and just observe them.

Begin drinking water around 3 hours before the start time for the lodge. The more water you have in your body, the easier it is to deal with the heat. Eat your last meal before the lodge no later than 2 hours before the start. An empty stomach is more comfortable in the lodge.  Arrive in good time so that you can relax before the ceremony and let go of the everyday world before stepping into sacred space. We will be doing some meditation and preparation before entering the lodge.

Bring some loose comfortable clothes for moving around in and for meditations during the retreat.
