In May, Farris Bad hosted the Norwegian Aufguss Championship, a competition that showcased the highest level of sauna artistry ever seen in Norway. Now, we invite you to a truly special event: a full Sunday dedicated to recapping the very best performances and giving our guests the chance to experience the Aufguss shows that will represent Norway in the 2026 World Championship Finals this September.

This is a rare opportunity to see the Top 2 Solo Show Aufguss and Top 2 Team Aufguss performers live, in our iconic event sauna, before they travel to compete against the world’s elite.

What is Show Aufguss?

Show Aufguss is the most spectacular expression of modern sauna culture. While traditional Aufguss focuses on heat, scent, and precise technique, Show Aufguss elevates the ritual into a full sensory performance:

Music, lighting, and theatrical elements

Choreography and storytelling

Powerful heat waves and advanced fan techniques

A 12–15 minute immersive experience

According to the international Aufguss WM organization, Show Aufguss is where ritual meets performance art, transforming the sauna into a stage and the audience into part of the story. Heat, aroma, rhythm, and movement become the “language” of the performance — creating an emotional, physical, and artistic journey unlike anything else.
