On June 18, we invite you to a deep listening session in the sauna where we will delve into the unique and groundbreaking universe of The Velvet Underground and their iconic album The Velvet Underground & Nico.

In the peaceful warmth of the sauna, we will allow this album to gradually unfold. The steam rises, the breath finds its rhythm, the body relaxes – and the music has space to emerge in all its nuances. When the album was released in 1967, it sounded like something entirely new: raw, poetic, beautiful, and at times dark.

With the cool and almost dreamlike voice of Nico floating over hypnotic rhythms and droning guitars, the album moves between fragile beauty and intense urban energy. From the quiet opening of Sunday Morning to the pulse in I’m Waiting for the Man, and the mysterious elegance in Femme Fatale and All Tomorrow’s Parties.

The album was created in the artistic circle around Andy Warhol and today stands as one of the most influential albums in modern music history. What was once radical and underground has since inspired generations of musicians and artists.
