Full Moon Ritual

Every month during the full moon, the sauna masters at Farris Bad offer a guided journey that harnesses the energy of the full moon to support you with your healing intention. The sauna ceremony starts at 10:15 PM in our event sauna and lasts for approximately 1.5-2 hours. A slow pace and comfortable temperature create a deep meditative state. (Sign-up sheets inside the spa prior to the ritual).

Because the full moon is the peak of the moon's cycle, it marks the time when energy is most intense and amplifies many aspects of our lives. The moon's energy is always available to us, and we can choose to connect with it to cleanse, heal, and manifest. We can plant intention seeds with the full moon to carry us into the next lunar cycle.

At this point when the sun and moon are on opposite sides of the planet, we as humans can also feel off-balance. Stress, anxiety, poor sleep, and restlessness are common symptoms in those sensitive to energies associated with lunar cycles. To balance these opposing forces, we use the moon's phases to seek equilibrium through this sauna journey.
The power of synchronizing our inner rhythm with the rhythm of nature can be refreshing and energizing. The entire lunar cycle is around 29+ days, going from a new moon to a full moon and back again. These changes in phases indicate a shift in energy.
