Deep Listening Sauna Session – Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds · Ghosteen

December 17, 2026 · 8:00 PM · Alda Sauna

On December 17, we invite you to the last deep listening sauna session of the year, dedicated to one of the most poignant and transcendent albums in modern music: Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds – Ghosteen.

In the warmth of Alda Sauna, as the steam settles like a soft veil over the room, we step into a musical landscape where sorrow, hope, love, and spirituality flow together. Ghosteen is an album that is not only heard – it is felt. It is a meditative journey through loss and reconciliation, written with a rare form of silence, clarity, and grace.

Released in 2019, Ghosteen stands as one of Nick Cave's most significant works. Here he leaves behind the dark, earthy intensity of earlier albums and instead opens a space of light and floating melodies. Synth textures, choir voices, and poetic stories create an atmosphere that is both fragile and infinitely vast. Songs like Bright Horses, Sun Forest, and the monumental title composition Ghosteen carry a sense of moving through a landscape of memories, dreams, and inner transformation.

In the enveloping warmth of the sauna, the music takes on an almost sacred quality.

The body softens.

The breath deepens.

And each line, each tone, each quiet transition opens a space for reflection and inner peace.

This is an evening to listen with the heart.

To make room for the silence between the notes.

To experience an album that seeks the light that exists even in the darkest rooms.
