On August 20, we invite you to a deep listening session in the sauna where we will delve into the warm, rhythmic, and soulful world of Curtis Mayfield and his legendary album Super Fly.

In the soft warmth of the sauna, we let grooves, bass lines, and falsetto voices fill the room as the steam rises and the body finds peace. Super Fly is more than a soundtrack; it is a musical portrait of urban life, hope, struggle, and survival, wrapped in some of the most elegant soul and funk arrangements ever recorded.

When the album was released in 1972, it stood out by giving a human and socially critical voice to the environments depicted in the film. Curtis Mayfield combined silky melodies with lyrics about poverty, addiction, temptations, and the dream of freedom. The result was an album that makes the body move and the mind reflect.
