Join a foundational international 2-day course in aromatherapy for sauna. This course provides you with all the knowledge an aufguss master needs to use essential oils in a safe, effective, and creative way. The course is considered the standard in the Aufguss environment, combining both scientific theory and practical skills that elevate your practice to the next level.

What you will learn

What essential oils are and how they are extracted

The anatomy, metabolism, and classification of plants

Aromatic compounds and basic chemistry

How essential oils affect the body's systems (respiratory system, immune system, nervous system, detoxification)

Safety and precautions

How to plan an aufguss: health, season, mood, meditation, nature and herb experiences

How to properly use, dose, and blend essential oils

How to create professional, varied, and thoughtful aufguss sessions

Program

Day 1 – Theory 

Introduction to essential oils

Botany and aromatic compounds

Extraction methods (steam distillation, pressing, etc.)

Chemistry: molecules, functional groups, and effects on the body

Precautions and safe use

Day 2 – Practice 

Goal setting and planning of aufguss

Proper dosing, fragrance notes, evaporation, and intensity

Blending oils (botanical family, fragrance group, note)

Practical exercises:

Creating your own oil blends

Designing complete aufguss sessions

Using the app in planning and execution

What you achieve

After the course, you will have solid knowledge of aromatherapy in the sauna and be able to create safe, professional, and varied aufguss experiences. You will be able to guide guests and explain the purpose of each session, enhancing their experience to a new level.

Practical info

The course will be held in English or Norwegian if everyone understands.
