Join us for a 2-day international course on working with essential oils in the sauna. This foundation course gives you a solid understanding of how to use essential oils safely, professionally and creatively in Aufguss.

The course is seen as an important standard within the Aufguss community, and is suitable for sauna masters and aufguss masters who want to learn more about fragrance, steam, safety and how to create professional sauna experiences.

What will you learn?

• What essential oils are, and how they are produced
• A basic understanding of aromatic compounds in plants
• How essential oils can influence body, mind and experience
• Safe use, dosing and precautions in the sauna
• Fragrance notes, evaporation rate and intensity in heated spaces
• How to mix essential oils by scent group, botanical family and tone
• How to build an Aufguss with a clear goal, such as season, mood, meditation, nature or herbs
• Practical work with creating different Aufguss sessions using essential oils and the app

After this course, you will have a deeper and more confident understanding of aromatherapy in the sauna, and be able to create more diverse, professional and conscious Aufguss experiences for your guests.

What to bring
Bathrobe, towels, fan/aufguss towel, aufguss peshtemal or kilt, and a phone or tablet to install the app.

The course will be held in English if we have English-speaking participants.
