Nancy Bundt photographed Prince in 1984 and 1985. She became the official photographer for the Purple Rain tour, and photographed from November 1984 to March 1985.

She was chosen by Prince after he had seen these pictures and her other work from international locations. The pictures were taken during the pre-tour concert at First Avenue in Minneapolis on June 7, 1984 – Prince's birthday.

After the exhibition is taken down at Farris Bad in May, it will continue to Paris.
