Join us for an in-depth dive into the art of sauna!

The sauna culture is flourishing in Norway, and the interest in the power of steam has never been greater. But with growth comes responsibility  understanding the sauna's function, rituals, and safety is crucial for creating safe and rewarding experiences. This basic course provides you with a solid introduction to the world of sauna, from historical traditions to modern practices.

What will you learn?

This course gives you a comprehensive understanding of sauna principles and how to use steam properly to create a deeper experience. We combine theory and practice to provide you with:

• The sauna's effect on body and mind – based on research and experience
• Safety and responsibility – how to create safe ceremonies for yourself and your guests
• Rituals and intention setting – the art of building a holistic and meaningful experience
• Technique and practice – temperature control, steam, ventilation, and proper use of sauna equipment

Learning in practice

The course is not just about theory – we put what you learn into practice:

• You will be guided through 20 rituals that you conduct in your own or others' saunas
• You will develop your own personal recipe book for rituals and ceremonies
• A total of 72 hours of learning (including self-study and practical follow-up)
• Completion of the course and recipe book will give you a diploma in basic knowledge as a ceremony leader in sauna
